Who watched this movie when it first came out in the cimemas. Makoto Shinkai's direction is also incredible, it's extremely well paced and the film is visually stunning throughout due to it's jaw-droppingly good animation.
Kotora Daigo and Nana Mori both give incredible performances. This movie doesn't quite add up to the qualities that Kimi has. But when it comes to comparing to Kimi No Na Wa, director Shinkai's last movie. The plot still runs smoothly, and has a nice flow to it. Smooth animation with great art direction, relatable characters, and even some fun parts too. Only understood a few words but damn their voices reached my heart. Weathering with you is there still anything that love can do. It was touched that made me wanna cry while watching. One of the best movies I've ever watched.
